Straight Egyptian horses are among the rarest and most prized horses in the world. Antiquity Hill's premiere Stallion IBN NASERI is not only Straight Egyptian and Al Khamsa, he has the pedigree of champions revered around the world. Like his ancestors, IBN NASERI has the classic look of champions. He is tall, smooth and short-backed. His head is ornately Arabian--fine, sculpted, exotic. He has an exceptional carriage, bold motion, a substantial frame and straight legs. IBN NASERI represents balance, beauty and brilliance.
IBN NASERI's Championships and awards include AHSA Michigan State Halter Championship, AHSA Michigan State Show Hack Championship, Arabian Native Costume, Country English Pleasure, Hunter Pleasure, and Liberty.
IBN NASERI's pedigree is as impressive as any Egyptian pedigree could be. He is the son of the late ANSATA EL NASERI, a Champion Halter and Performance Stallion, as well as winner of Most Classic. Ansata El Naseri was bred by world renowned breeders of Arabian horses, Don and Judith Forbis. Judith Forbis is also the author of several important books about Arabian horses including "The Classic Arabian Horse".
Ansata El Naseri was the son of 1971 U.S. NationalChampion Stallion ANSATA IBN SUDAN, the greatest winning son of 1967, 1969, U.S. Top Ten Stallion *ANSATA IBN HALIMA (imported from Egypt). *Ansata Ibn Halima is one of five Arabian Stallions to have sired a National son and daughter: Ansata Ibn Sudan and Fa Halima. (Fa Halima's dam is a full-sister to IBN NASERI's great granddam.) Ansata Ibn Sudan is out of *ANSATA BINT MABROUKA (imported from Egypt) who is the full-sister to *Morafic-- the leading sire of U.S. National Futurity Winners.
Ansate El Naseri's dam, *ANSATA BINT BUKRA (Nazeer x Bukra) was also imported from Egypt. She is heralded as being the best source of the beautiful Bukra blood here in the U.S. The Bukra line is reported in many Arabian breed journals as one of the most influential of the Egyptian mare lines known for producing fluid elegance, refinement and a look of gentle mystique.
All male lines in Ansata El Naseri's pedigree (except Bukra) go to Nazeer-- the Stallion credited for being the most influential Egyptian Arabian Stallion in modern history. Nazeer produced inherently exotic, athletic horses... traits that span generations of show winners, successful race horses and top selling investment horses. Some of the highest rated Stallions used in Poland, Russia, Europe, South America and the United States of any strain of ARabian (straight or non-straight Egyptian) are related to Nazeer. Antiquity Hill's IBN NASERI has six crosses to Nazeer in his pedigree.
IBN NASERI has an equally impressive genetic pool on his maternal side. There are few Egyptian Arabian mares with a pedigree that can equal the quality of IBN NASERI's dam. SULTANNAH's beauty, exceptional trot and disposition are the result of being the daughter of the well-known *SULTANN (imported from Egypt) and out of the elegant mare GLENGLADE DAHIRA. *Sultann is the only Straight Egyptian Stallion to produce three National Champion Performance horses: *Asadd, *Sakr and *Manzoura. The *Sultann son *Asadd (imported from Egypt) earned a 1975 U.S. National Champion English Pleasure title--the only Egyptian Arabian to acacomplish these show wins. Another *Sultann son, *Sakr (imported from Egypt) is the greatest show Champion in the history of the breed with the 123 Championships, including 22 U.S. National awards in Halter, Park and Native Costume.
*Sultann's sire, SAMEH, was an impressive producer of mares, too. Sameh daughters imported to the U.S. and shown include *Fawkia (1968 U.S. National Top Ten Mare), *Romanaa II (1971 U.S. National Champion Mare). *Sultann was imported at the age of 14, slightly beyond the time for designing a National Show career. It is interesting to note however, that *Sultann's dam Lubna (Sid Abouham x Moniet El Nefous) is a full sister to Mabrouka, dam of *Morafic and *Ansata Bint Mabrouka (dam of Ansata Ibn Sudan mentioned earlier).
IBN NASERI's sire Ansata El Naseri, and dam Sultannah, offer an impressive roster of names. But there's more. Sultannah's dam GLENGLADE DAHIRA, is sired by Ansata El Naseri. Glenglade Farms crossed Ansata El Naseri to his own granddaughter, thereby reinforcing the genetic strengths of Champion Park and Halter Horse *Ansata Ibn Halima, National Champion Ansata Ibn Sudan, and crosses to Nazeer. Genetic strength, layering National Champion over National Champion is evident in IBN NASERI. IBN NASERI inherited their winning look.
Important too, are the tail female horses in IBN NASERI's family tree. His maternal grandmother is out of BINT SHEBAA, the full blood sister of the dam of National Champion Fa Halima. Bint Shebaa is out of the highly respected Babson bred daughter of Fabah (*Fadl x *Bint Bint Sabbah) out of Shebaa (Fa Serr x Fa Sabbah). Fa Serr sired the National winners Serr Ra (1964 U.S. Top Ten Mare) and Bint Aaroufa (1966 U.S. Top Ten Park). Bint Shebaa's contribution to IBN NASERI's overall picture include more successful halter and performance producers, horses with real people-oriented dispositions, depth of body, and strong structures.
IBN NASERI can and has produced color when bred to mares with the genetic capability. His dam is a dark liver chestnut--like her father and her mother and the Babson horses in the tail female line.
IBN NASERI's pedigree offers so many quality Egyptian Horses to Arabian breeders that the mare owner can't miss. He has two crosses to Bukra, *Ansata Ibn Halima, Ansata Ibn Sudan and *Ansata Bint Mabrouka-- each appear once in the sire line and once in the dam line, therefore reinforcing the crosses from top to bottom. IBN NASERI has 6 crosses to Nazeer, two to *Fadl, and has the blood of Sameh thru *Sultann.
IBN NASERI is Antiquity Hill's ideal Egyptian Arabian breeding horse. He draws from some of the best Egyptian horses in the world. On paper, his lineage offers a blend of distinguished English and Halter horses. That was how he was discovered by Bruce and Sharlene Sieloff of Leonard, Michigan.
They write: "When faced with having to replace our successful Ansata Ibn Sudan son, Sudan Moon (x Egyptian Moon by Theegyptianprince), we searched the country high and low for a straight Egyptian stallion. The year was 1986-- the year IBN NASERI was born. From all of the letters, photographs, pedigrees and videos, one stood out over the months,-- this young colt in Florida. It was Sultannah's Ansata El Naseri son.
Because we didn't have a video or picture to see what he looked like, we were reluctant to go to Florida from Michigan to satisfy our curiosity. However, the other leads couldn't bring us to finding a horse equivalent to Sudan Moon-- a Buckeye winner, two-time event Top Ten horse, top ten Canadian National Champion Futurity horse and Champion Stallion. The pedigree of IBN NASERI was hard to ignore, so off to Glenglade in Miami we went and found the horse above our expectations.
IBN NASERI, as a young colt, had an extraordinary trot and a gamey carriage-- neck tall and upright, tail thrown over his back and firey action. His interest in people and his alert attitude was magnetic. We saw his dam and granddam at the farm. Both were exceedingly exotic mares-- bold movers, long necks, big black eyes and substantial frames. There before us paraded three generations of beauty." Antiquity Hill proudly offers a videotape of this Stallion, his Futurity Champion sons, and some of his foals. Simply contact us at the farm and we would be most delighted to be of service.
